When traveling to the United States by air, you must show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding your flight. COVID-19 continues to spread within Virginia, across the United States. VDH is sending an email with health information to people entering Virginia after international travel. The email includes information about symptom management, staying home (quarantine or isolation) when appropriate, and recommendations for testing, and includes links to useful information and resources.
As resources allow, VDH also provides a link to order a free VDH at-home COVID-19 testing kit. All travelers should consider the risks of contracting or spreading COVID-19 and follow recommendations and requirements at their destination.
